Founded on Summer 2017 around the area of Strasbourg city (France) by members from various local bands (Djinn, Peace Me Off, PIEDBOUCHE), AFAR play a powerfull mixture between Melodic Hardcore and Post-Hardcore.

Quickly, the band entered the studio to recorded its debut EP ‘No Landmark In The Void’ officially released one year after the birth of the band.

After a bunch of gigs all around the French territory, AFAR got back into the practice room and then the studio to record a second EP called ‘Empty Ends’, released on fall 2019 while a first full-length record is already in the pipe.
