“In the Nightside Eclipse” è il primo album in studio e quarta release ufficiale dei norvegesi Emperor, uscito il 21 febbraio del 1994 per Candlelight Records. Si tratta dell’ultimo con il batterista Faust.
Considerato una pietra miliare della scena Black Metal, l’album è stato definito dalla critica come uno dei più influenti del genere. Contiene alcune delle tracce più conosciute della band come “I Am the Black Wizards” e “Inno a Satana”.
