Il brano è estratto dal settimo e nuovo album della band americana, intitolato “Remember… You Must Die” e previsto in uscita nella prima metà del 2023.
Il commento della band:
“‘You Must Die’ ci ricorda che il tempo è spietato. Ogni secondo che passa ci avviciniamo alla morte e ciò che accade dopo il nostro breve incontro con il tempo è un mistero totale. ‘You Must Die’ è stato scritto come un promemoria per ricordare la morte e per ricordare di non lasciare che il tempo sia il nostro padrone.”
“Remember… You Must Die” è stato prodotto e mixato da Tayler Young (NAILS, Xibalba, Vitrio…) mentre la copertina è stata realizzata dall’artista ‘necro surrealista’ David Van Gough.
